Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use the chauffeurservicetoronto.ca website, the online booking and quote forms, our voice booking assistant, or when you ride with our chauffeurs. By making a reservation, you accept these terms. We've kept them short and in plain English.

1. Who we are

Chauffeur Service Toronto is a professional chauffeur and executive transport service operating in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Bookings carry the confirmation prefix CST-.

2. Booking and quotes

  • A quote we issue is valid for 24 hours and assumes the trip details you supplied are accurate. If the actual pickup, drop-off, passenger count, or vehicle differs, the price may change accordingly.
  • A reservation is confirmed only when we email you a confirmation with a code starting CST-. A submitted form alone is not a confirmed booking.
  • Pickup times are honored as scheduled. We recommend booking airport pickups for the published gate-arrival time; we monitor flight numbers you provide and adjust when there's a delay.

3. Payment

  • Payment is required at the time of booking unless you have a corporate-account agreement with us.
  • Card payments are processed by Stripe (and Square where applicable). We never store your full card number on our servers.
  • Quoted prices include applicable HST. Tolls, parking, and significant waiting time may be added on the receipt.

4. Cancellations and changes

  • Free cancellation: up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Full refund.
  • Late cancellation: within 24 hours of pickup. 50% of the quoted fare is non-refundable.
  • No-show: failing to appear at the agreed pickup point within 30 minutes of the scheduled time is a no-show. Full fare applies.
  • Changes: we'll do our best to accommodate pickup or destination changes. Fare may be re-quoted.

5. Waiting time

Up to 15 minutes of waiting time is included on standard pickups, and up to 60 minutes on airport pickups (we start the clock at the published flight arrival time). Additional waiting time is billed at the prevailing hourly rate, rounded up to the next 15 minutes.

6. Passenger conduct

  • Seat belts are required by Ontario law.
  • Smoking, including vape, is not permitted in any of our vehicles.
  • The chauffeur may refuse service or end a trip early if passengers behave unsafely toward themselves, the driver, or the vehicle.
  • If a passenger soils or damages a vehicle (vomit, broken trim, spilled drink, etc.), a cleaning fee of CAD 250 or the actual cost of repair — whichever is higher — will be charged to the card on file.

7. Luggage

Reasonable luggage for the booked vehicle and passenger count is included. Oversized items (skis, oversized boxes, instruments) should be flagged at the time of booking so we can confirm vehicle fit.

8. Service delays beyond our control

We are not liable for delays caused by weather, road closures, accidents ahead, security checkpoints, or other events outside our reasonable control. We will keep you informed in real time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Ontario law, our liability arising from any single booking is limited to the amount actually paid for that booking. We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful (for example, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).

10. Insurance

Our vehicles are licensed for commercial passenger transport and carry the liability insurance required by Ontario. Personal items remain the passenger's responsibility; we recommend taking any high-value item with you when the trip ends.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of the City of Toronto, Ontario.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top changes when we do. Bookings made before a change are governed by the terms in force at the time of the booking.
